Holding high standards

We hold ourselves accountable to the highest industry standards for dental care, and even higher personal standards for service. You can achieve your optimal dental health with our comprehensive treatment plans for restorative and cosmetic dentistry. We also understand that there is no convenient time for emergencies to occur, and will prioritize caring for you as soon as possible. See what a difference our patient-first policies will make in your experience at the dentist's office.

Uncompromising safety

You will find that our facility is fully sterile without feeling cold and unwelcoming. One of our highest priorities is preventing the spread of infection, and we hold ourselves to the rigorous standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Maintaining a clean operating environment is critical for ensuring that any procedures go off without a hitch, and that you recover fully and quickly.

Prioritizing education and prevention

At Edwardsville Family Dentist, we truly believe that preventative care and education are the keys to maintaining your best oral health for a lifetime. We make a distinction between "dental health care" and "disease care," where dental health care focuses on building excellent habits that prevent serious and painful conditions from arising at all. Our exams are thorough, checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams and taking x-rays when necessary. Routine cleanings, regular flossing, sealants and fluoride treatments are also key elements of preventing tooth decay and gum disease. We don't just focus on the aesthetic beauty of your smile, we keep up to date with your overall health, taking into consideration any new medications or illnesses that may impact your dental health.

Training and expertise

As your dental health professionals, we want you to be confident knowing that you are in the hands of highly trained and skilled clinicians. One of our greatest commitments is to improving our abilities through continual self-education and learning. We attend dental lectures, meetings and conventions to stay on informed of new techniques, the latest products, and cutting-edge equipment to bring you the highest level of dental care. Additionally, our membership with various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession.

A positive experience

Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients as special individuals is vital to our success. We understand how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how we can make a difference in creating a relaxing and positive atmosphere. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with exceptional personalized care to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Happy patients are more likely to return for routine checkups, which are crucial in preventing serious complications down the road.
